How to Make Vanilla Marshmallow Fudge
Ingredients
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/16 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 cup mini marshmallows
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, stir together sugars, milk, butter and salt. Cook until mixture reaches 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
- Remove from heat. Add vanilla and beat until mixture is creamy. Pour half of mixture into a greased pan; spread marshmallows evenly over this layer. Pour the remaining mixture over the marshmallows to cover. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
