How to Make Vanilla Marshmallow Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/16 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 cup mini marshmallows

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, stir together sugars, milk, butter and salt. Cook until mixture reaches 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer. Stir constantly to avoid burning.
  2. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and beat until mixture is creamy. Pour half of mixture into a greased pan; spread marshmallows evenly over this layer. Pour the remaining mixture over the marshmallows to cover. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
