How to Make Raspberry Nut Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1/3 cup raspberry jam
  • a few drops of red food coloring
  • a pinch of cream of tartar
  • 1/2 teaspoon raspberry extract
  • 1 cup chopped walnuts
  • 1 cup water
  • 2 cups sugar

Instructions

  1. Cook the cream of tartar, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Heat until the mixture reaches 245°. Pour syrup into a bowl and let stand for 8 minutes.
  2. Add the jam, food coloring, and raspberry extract. Stir until the mixture becomes grainy. Add the walnuts.
  3. Pour mixture into a greased pan.
  4. Let fudge cool and then cut into squares.
