How to Make Raspberry Nut Fudge
Ingredients
- 1/3 cup raspberry jam
- a few drops of red food coloring
- a pinch of cream of tartar
- 1/2 teaspoon raspberry extract
- 1 cup chopped walnuts
- 1 cup water
- 2 cups sugar
Instructions
- Cook the cream of tartar, sugar, and water in a saucepan. Heat until the mixture reaches 245°. Pour syrup into a bowl and let stand for 8 minutes.
- Add the jam, food coloring, and raspberry extract. Stir until the mixture becomes grainy. Add the walnuts.
- Pour mixture into a greased pan.
- Let fudge cool and then cut into squares.
