How to Make Raisin Fudge

Ingredients

  • 4 cups brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 2 cups milk
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/16 teaspoon of salt
  • 3/4 cup raisins

Instructions

  1. Add sugars, milk, butter and salt to a heavy saucepan and blend over medium heat. Stir constantly while cooking until mixture reaches 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat. Allow to cool for 5 minutes; beat until mixture is creamy.
  3. Fold in raisins until well blended. Pour mixture into a greased pan. Garnish with raisins on top. Cut into squares when thoroughly cool.
