How to Make Raisin Fudge
Ingredients
- 4 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 2 cups milk
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1/16 teaspoon of salt
- 3/4 cup raisins
Instructions
- Add sugars, milk, butter and salt to a heavy saucepan and blend over medium heat. Stir constantly while cooking until mixture reaches 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat. Allow to cool for 5 minutes; beat until mixture is creamy.
- Fold in raisins until well blended. Pour mixture into a greased pan. Garnish with raisins on top. Cut into squares when thoroughly cool.
