How to Make Maple Cream Squares

Ingredients

  • 4 1/2 cups maple sugar
  • 4 cups heavy cream
  • 1/16 teaspoon of salt

Instructions

  1. Combine all ingredients in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Cook rapidly until temperature reaches 288 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir until mixture is smooth and creamy. Pour evenly into a lightly greased pan. Allow to cool; cut into squares.
