How to Make Ice Cream Candy
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups sugar
- 1/4 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1/2 cup water
- 1/2 tablespoon vinegar
- 1 teaspoon lemon extract
Instructions
- Add the cream of tartar, sugar, vinegar, and water to a saucepan. Heat mixture to 290°. Add lemon extract.
- Pour mixture onto a greased surface. Let cool enough to handle, then pull candy until it is white and glossy. Cut into sticks.
