How to Make Honey Taffy

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2/3 cup honey
  • 2/3 cup hot water

Instructions

  1. Bring all ingredients to a boil in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking, without stirring, until mixture reaches 280 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat. Pour mixture into a greased pan until cool enough to handle. When cool, pull taffy into ropes. Cut into 1-inch lengths with scissors. Wrap individual pieces in wax paper.
