How to Make Grape Taffy

Ingredients

  • 1 cup grape juice
  • a few drops of violet food coloring
  • 3 cups sugar
  • a pinch of cream of tartar
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice

Instructions

  1. Add all ingredients to a saucepan. Heat to 300°.
  2. Pour mixture into a greased pan and let cool enough to handle.
  3. Pull taffy and cut into small pieces with greased scissors.
