How to Make Fruit and Nut Fudge

Ingredients

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1 tablespoon candied pineapple, chopped
  • 1 cup cream
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon crystallized ginger, chopped
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1 tablespoon preserved cherries, chopped
  • 1/2 cup chopped nuts
  • 1 square melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Add butter, cream, and sugar to a saucepan. Boil for 1/2 hour. Stir continuosly.
  2. Add chocolate and allow mixture to come to a boil again. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir mixture until it is creamy. Add the rest of the ingredients.
  4. Pour fudge into a greased pan and let cool. Cut into squares.
