How to Make Crystallized Honey Popcorn

Ingredients

  • 1 cup white honey
  • 1 cup white sugar
  • 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon water
  • 2 quarts plain popped popcorn

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, sugar, butter and water. Cook until syrup reaches 255 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Pour syrup over popped popcorn. Gently blend until evenly distributed. With buttered hands, form popcorn into 3-inch balls. Cover each ball with plastic wrap and store at room temperature.
