How to Make Crystallized Honey Popcorn
Ingredients
- 1 cup white honey
- 1 cup white sugar
- 1 1/2 tablespoons butter
- 1 tablespoon water
- 2 quarts plain popped popcorn
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine honey, sugar, butter and water. Cook until syrup reaches 255 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
- Pour syrup over popped popcorn. Gently blend until evenly distributed. With buttered hands, form popcorn into 3-inch balls. Cover each ball with plastic wrap and store at room temperature.
