How to Make Creamy Chocolate Fudge
Ingredients
- 2 squares of chocolate, shaved
- 1/2 cup milk
- 2 cups granulated sugar
- 1 tablespoon butter
- 1/4 cup corn syrup
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- Nuts, if desired
Instructions
- Pour shaved chocolate over 1/4 cup of the milk in a heavy saucepan. Over medium heat, stir constantly until chocolate is melted. Add the remaining milk. Stir until smooth.
- Remove from heat. Add granulated sugar, butter and corn syrup. Place back on heat and stir until sugar is dissolved. Slowly boil until mixture reaches 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and nuts. Pour into a greased pan. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
