How to Make Cream Caramels

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup cream
  • 1/2 cup water
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 teaspoon orange extract
  • 1/3 cup corn syrup
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 teaspoon rose extract

Instructions

  1. Add the sugar and water to a saucepan. Heat until the mixture begins to boil.
  2. Add the corn syrup and heat until the mixture reaches 240°.
  3. Stir in the butter, cream, and extracts. Continue heating until the mixture reaches 252°. Stir continuously.
  4. Pour mixture into a greased pan. Let cool and then cut into squares.
