How to Make Cream Caramels
Ingredients
- 1/2 cup cream
- 1/2 cup water
- 2 1/2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon orange extract
- 1/3 cup corn syrup
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon rose extract
Instructions
- Add the sugar and water to a saucepan. Heat until the mixture begins to boil.
- Add the corn syrup and heat until the mixture reaches 240°.
- Stir in the butter, cream, and extracts. Continue heating until the mixture reaches 252°. Stir continuously.
- Pour mixture into a greased pan. Let cool and then cut into squares.
