How to Make Chocolate Cream Fudge
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1/16 teaspoon of salt
- 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 6 ounces grated chocolate
Instructions
- In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, water, salt and cream of tartar. Continue cooking until mixture reaches 234- 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
- Remove from heat. Add vanilla and grated chocolate. Blend well with a wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and mixture is of a smooth texture.
- Pour evenly in a greased, shallow pan. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
