How to Make Chocolate Cream Fudge

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/16 teaspoon of salt
  • 1 teaspoon cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 6 ounces grated chocolate

Instructions

  1. In a heavy saucepan over medium heat, combine sugar, water, salt and cream of tartar. Continue cooking until mixture reaches 234- 240 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat. Add vanilla and grated chocolate. Blend well with a wooden spoon until chocolate is melted and mixture is of a smooth texture.
  3. Pour evenly in a greased, shallow pan. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
