How to Make Chocolate Covered Popcorn Balls

Ingredients

  • 8 cups popped popcorn
  • a pinch of cream of tartar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 cup water
  • melted chocolate

Instructions

  1. Make a syrup by boiling the sugar, water, and cream of tartar together until the mixture reaches 260°.
  2. Pour part of the syrup over the popcorn and form the popcorn into small balls.
  3. Dip the popcorn balls into the remaining syrup and place them on wax paper.
  4. Dip the balls into melted chocolate.
