How to Make Chocolate Covered Popcorn Balls
Ingredients
- 8 cups popped popcorn
- a pinch of cream of tartar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 cup water
- melted chocolate
Instructions
- Make a syrup by boiling the sugar, water, and cream of tartar together until the mixture reaches 260°.
- Pour part of the syrup over the popcorn and form the popcorn into small balls.
- Dip the popcorn balls into the remaining syrup and place them on wax paper.
- Dip the balls into melted chocolate.
