How to Make Chocolate Caramels
Ingredients
- 3 cups sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 cup milk
- 1 tablespoon corn syrup
- 1 cup molasses
- 2/3 cup chocolate
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract
Instructions
- Add the butter, chocolate, glucose, milk, molasses, and sugar to a saucepan.
- Boil the mixture until it reaches 252°, stirring regularly.
- Add the lemon and vanilla extract to the mixture.
- Pour into a greased pan and let cool.
- Cut into squares.
