How to Make Chocolate Caramels

Ingredients

  • 3 cups sugar
  • 1 cup butter
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon corn syrup
  • 1 cup molasses
  • 2/3 cup chocolate
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon lemon extract

Instructions

  1. Add the butter, chocolate, glucose, milk, molasses, and sugar to a saucepan.
  2. Boil the mixture until it reaches 252°, stirring regularly.
  3. Add the lemon and vanilla extract to the mixture.
  4. Pour into a greased pan and let cool.
  5. Cut into squares.
