How to Make Candied Almonds


  • 4 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • 1 1/2 cup almonds


  1. Combine sugar and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and then add almonds. Cook until mixture thickens and leaves a heavy coating on the almonds.
  2. Spread mixture evenly on a greased baking sheet, separating almonds using a fork. Allow to cool before serving.
