How to Make Candied Almonds
- 4 cups sugar
- 2 cups water
- 1 1/2 cup almonds
- Combine sugar and water in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Bring to a boil and then add almonds. Cook until mixture thickens and leaves a heavy coating on the almonds.
- Spread mixture evenly on a greased baking sheet, separating almonds using a fork. Allow to cool before serving.
