How to Make Brown Sugar Fudge

Ingredients

  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1 tablespoon butter
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 3/4 cup chopped peanuts

Instructions

  1. Mix sugars, milk and butter in a heavy saucepan over medium heat. Continue cooking until mixture reaches 238 degrees F on a candy thermometer.
  2. Remove from heat. Stir in vanilla and peanuts; blend until mixture is creamy and thick.
  3. Pour into a greased pan. Allow to cool and then cut into squares.
